Propane Grinders

LAVINA S7 Grinders feature a new frame design and a sealed, dust-proof grinding head to make your work easier and more efficient than ever. Integrated weights, water system, and LED lights come standard. The new S7 line includes a complete range of propane and electric models, as well as several remote-controlled models, offering more torque, better control, and less maintenance.

Propane vs Electric

The main advantage of propane grinders is that they are cordless and eliminate the need for electricity or generators on the job site. This can significantly reduce your set up time and cost. Cordless equipment is also easier to move around on large projects.

When propane equipment is used indoors, proper air ventilation with access to FRESH AIR and proper equipment maintenance (oil and filter changes, etc) are crucial for operator’s safety. Operators should always carry a CO monitor or badge to monitor CO emission level and ensure it is within the safe range. Electric floor grinders are sometimes preferred for indoor job sites, because they don’t need special air ventilation or maintenance, as propane grinders do. They also operate more quietly.
